Did you know that the skin can prepare itself for these changes ?

1st tip :

Apply lemon juice. It's your best ally in strengthening your skin! It contains a high concentration of citric acid which has tanning properties (thickening without stiffening). Apply daily with a compress or a cotton pad for several days or until your foot is ready and there is no more discomfort.

2nd tip :

Apply anti-friction cream, 1x/day, for about ten days. It strengthens the skin but also softens and moisturises it. Ex: Nok® from Akiléïne. Shea butter also has these virtues.

3rd tip :

Wear your new shoes gradually, alternating 1 hour, then 2 hours and 3 hours... Take the time to adjust.
